I Don't Want to Go Home-Southside Johnny Asbury Jukes 45 RPM SOAP
Original radio station promotional copy 45 RPM vinyl single of "I Don't Want to Go Home" by Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes. This was the band's first single release from their first album of the same name. Very rare 45 RPM released in 1976 and it never charted in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This video recorded just 6 miles from Asbury Park and the Stone Pony - where it all began!!To hear this in STEREO, add "&fmt=18" to the end of the URL and then refresh. The record will then play in full stereo!

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes later covered the Left Banke's 1966 hit song "Walk Away Renee" in 1986.

The First Time I heard this song was in the early 90s it was the theme to a show called "Down The Shore" I said Wow this is a great Song. Then I find out that my favorite all time Singer/Songwriter Bruce Springsteen Wrote it. And Southside Johnny (Singer Extraordinare) sang it. Long Live E Street Band & Asbury Jukes.
