elliott smith was great but his brain was so scrambled from the depression and drugs. probably most of the moves he made in the last years of his life were filled with desperation, even if they lacked rhyme or reason, maybe including moving to L.AR.I.P Eliott

He was found with two stab wounds to his chest. The coroner recorded a verdict of suicide. He was battling depression, drink and drugs at the time
