LOL you're completely right, unfortunatley it's the evolucion of the bachata/merengue/latin music in general , as the generations change, so those the music, but, some with more, or less rhythm then others. That's how artist are filtered from the good, and, the bad. Bachateros/Merengueros of the past sang with pride, with a sense of actually singing it at best, while most artist's today sing what is put infront of them.

you're right josieblim. Its when my generation came in and fucked it all up. Now you got mala fe, omega..these cats don't even sing. Old School merengue and bachata was much better than nowadays, better lyrics, rhythms, and melodies. Now if it's not some halfassed reggaeton rap over some horns, it doesn't sell as merengue
