of course Howe can make that solo..that´s obvious. He had the obligation to doing, he was earning a good money for that.

I think it's just not his style. Rather than embarrass himself trying to do it. Instead, have the keyboardist who can emulate the original sound far better than Howe can play it. It's much less painful to listen to that way.
