decided to check out GMR this Saturday. first time up. VERY fun road! Not pushing it in the video; single lane, just previewing the road. pretty far from where i live, and i don't like night runs much :omid-day, Lots of other traffic [other cars/bikes/moto/runners!, etc] Saw an Ariel Atom on our way down.. now THAT would be a fun car to do this road with. :Dhigher quality, uncut one here: http://cicadasharddrive.com/vi...

-- costed $10k to fix, and i'd rather not go through that again, or even worse, total the car and put my life at risk.I've rolled a car at highway speeds before, and it's NOT fun :P

camera makes it seem a lot slower than it really is -- still, i'm not going fast at all either way. I had never even seen the road before that [and still haven't been up there again as it's still 2 hours away from where I live] -- I'm obviously not the best driver, but I like to take care of myself and my things by not endangering either (let alone endanger other people). I just had a run in with a curb when I let the rear end get away from me [beyond my control/skill] --

GMR is tight. No room for error what so ever. He's actually doing a good job. That place gets crazy during the day. Sight see'ers are constantly crossing the paint.

1st... onboards make it seem slower than it actually is... 2nd.. its day time, and its really hard to see oncoming cars. 3rd... gmr is really tight.. if u've been there, u will find it really difficult to maintain a good pace... g/l with an average of 25mph single laning w/ no experiance w/ the roads 88 corners.
