wonderful interviews. Brokeback Mountain is an absolutely wonderful movie that portrays love and loss...and the terror of straying from society's perception

Why the hell did the acting machine have to loose him? Ledger was such a neat person. Of all the crap actors out there living tawdry life-styles. Why couldn't fate have taken like Tom Cruise or something. This is heart breaking.

Ang Lee's movies are so diverse in cultures and yet they manage to touch everyone. Guess language is not the only medium to building bridges across cultures.

Interesting to see an interviewer who is actually intelligent and interested in his subjects more than just superificially. Ledger is and obviously always was uncomfortable with the publicity he had to do, but was obviously a sensitive actor with a great love of his craft, longing for more challenge along the way. Sad loss.

Ang Lee is surprisingly attractive. I like the way he talks - like he's thinking a million things at the same time.

I watched the trailer 1000 times before the movie was released. Read the novella over and over. BBM guided me through scary, unclear parts of my life. The flood of emotions, memories, loss and self-discovery I feel watching this is overwhelming. There will never be another BBM. A masterpiece to stand the test of time and become more powerful. What is weird is I don't watch the movie anymore after seeing it countless times. It served its purpose and is locked in my soul as a benchmark of my life.
