Steve Jobs CNBC Interview, 5th Ave. Apple Store

I REMOVE IRRELEVANT YouTube LINKS IN COMMENTS!! DON'T BOTHER!! I BLOCK SUCH USERS!Apple CEO Steve Jobs interviewed on CNBC to mark the opening of their new 24/365 store on 5th Avenue. LOOK FOR THE ELEVATOR IN THE BACKGROUND! Way cool! But obviously there's a lackey on the street level that has been purposely assigned to operate it for effect. NO ONE COMES DOWN! :P

the thing is, that macs are different, ipods are different (or used to be), and people like them. you might call macs shit, and ipods portable crap, but people still like them, and there are around 30 million macs and over a 100 million iPods out there, and people like them, they use them, and (most) of them don't think they are shit (some do, but most don't). Just as I say that Windows is a piece of shit, some people like it, and it has a 90% market share.

no iPhones were being made since 2005 because it was a 2 year project but their were no rumors....it was just something she asked since she was so into her iPod...i mean iPhone rumors did go around but they were never expected to be real...its like saying apple will enter the gaming consoles next...they did have rumors but nobody would ever think it would be coming out

Good lord! what difference does it make. It's still worded incorrectly.

I used it incorrectly? It wasn't me who posted that comment, you bonehead.

It was surely in development at this time, but Apple has a policy on not commenting on unreleased products (do a Wiki search for "the osborne effect" to see why). What is ironic is that apple DID pre-announce the iPhone in January 2007, six months before its release. WHY?? Because the iPhone's existence would be revealed by their application to get approval by the FCC. Apple did not want to leave such a HUGE revelation to a boring FCC application and did a big reveal of it in Jan 2007.

I'm aware of that smart ass. I was trying to point out that you used it incorrectly.
