But as much as I love all those movies and actors alike, I was satisfyed with Pacino winning for "Scent", though. It was great!

1992 was an arms race for leading men.the veteran Pacino still owed an oscar for Needle Park, Dog Day Afternoon, And Justice For All, The Godfather and, you know, anything else he ever made.denzel was just a powerhouse in Malcolm X.JOE PESCI (who wasn't even nominated) SLAYED My Cousin Vinny. he was snubbed. that performance was just as good as JD in Pirates- IMO.then RDJ trying to leave crap like Tuff Turf and Johnny Be Good behind proved to be worth his salt and then some with Chaplin.

RDJ did a great job; until I saw this movie I didn't think it was possible for ANY actor to play Charlie Chaplin. Downey shoulda got the Oscar for this!

seen the movie 500 times i never get tired of it...hes a genius...and robert downey jr is great as charlie..peace out...:-)
