Sacrilege, i know!This recording is dedicated to my friend Adriana Barreiros, with thanks for her friendship and support. You can hear her beautiful music at: http://www.myspace.com/adribar... of Anouk Aimee from Jacques Demy's 1961 film "Lola" - one of my favorites. (Did you know that the story of that movie continues in Demy's magnificent "Umbrellas of Cherbourg", and even has a brief reference in "The Young Girls of Rochefort? I've even heard there's another little-seen movie called Model Shop which continues Lola's own story.)

DId you know he wrote this song on a napking at a restaurant in Rio De Janeiro and the restaurants name was garota de ipanema
