If you don't already have the Rumours version with Silver Springs I suggest you look into it. Its the same album but number 7 is Silver Springs, followed by 8 being The Chain and so on.. Plus the extras and jam sessions give you a chance to see the beginnings of these great songs..

When you said that this song wasn't on Rumours I was going to say your wrong, but as I looked into it I saw that Silver Springs really wasn't on the original Rumours album although the version I have has it.. I never noticed that my Rumours album is a special edition of some sort that came with a second disc of rough/outtakes and early demos. I can't imagine Silver Springs not being on final cut though, its one of my favorite songs on the album, and one of my favorite songs by FM in general!

My girlfriend and I used to go to a little restaurant outside of Baltimore that had a single of the Buckingham Nicks version. This version is good but I'd sure like to get my hands on the original.Many memories. Thanks for posting this, you made a lot of people happy.

Silver Springs was suppose to be on Rumours Album but Lindsey said its to long and Stevie gave the rites of the song to her Mother soo like she siad it was a dud gift, until McASS Fleetwood relented and gave Stevie the rites to use it soo her mom got alot of royalties even backdated what a unrela gift to give a parent.
