1) Michael Jordan2) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar3) Wilt Chamberlain4) Larry Bird5) Hakeem Qlajaunthis is my top 5 ever list. I might consider reworking the order a bit. regardless, imo anybody who puts kobe on this list needs to look back at the real basketball legends. Hes a great player for this time, but he just doesnt match up against any of these guys.

xpoopayyx,You are correct in that Kareem Abdul Jabaar is the All-Time Leading Scorer in the NBA. In his prime, Kareem was absolutely unstoppable. I did not like the teams he played for but I sure had a lot of respect for his game. A great, great player! He is one of those New York City Playground Legends. He played at Power Memorial in NYC.later,NDMIKE

C'mon all Rodman did was defend/rebound, if Hakeem/Robinson/Ewing/Shaq weren't focused on scoring/guarding the lane/shotblocking. their reb numbers would be a lot higher. You are ignoring the fact that there was no 3pt line in the 60s which helped Russell's reb totals vs. later eras, not to mention teams had more possessions per game due to faster pace. Russell was better than Rodman, but he'd be 5x better the defender??? Rod defended everyone from Magic to MJ, to Malone/Barkley to Shaq.
