Yes, the mclaren has spirit to it. just like every other lemans racer. The bugatti to many people isn't as well known as the mclaren f1. people just under estimate it..and even if you want to talk lemans is why i mentioned the ford gt 40.The main title that the mclaren f1 has is fastest car of it's time. SO was the bugatti veyron. It had first lemans win. So did ford gt. 4 times actually. So what mclaren f1 has done, it happened before

I do, the McLaren F1 was somewhat, "the" car of it's time, the concept was increadible... and I still adore the sound of it :P ( wich you can hear really good in the fifth gear episode )

did you know that if a mclaren 95 f1 lm passed a paused bugatti veyron at 100. the bugatti is first to 175... did you know that when the mclaren passed the bugatti veyron at 135mph, the bugatti veyron is first to 200. Knowing that it's a awd vehicle as well. The mclaren was the fastest of it's time but i just think that it has a little too much rep to be competing with cars such as the gt 40, veyron, gt 90, and so on.

the mclaren f1's top speed is 245 mph at max right. isn't it funny to know that on the gt 40's on board cam while preparing for the 69 lemans, the driver said he was approaching 240 mph like nothing. the car took turns and everything and he was at 240mph faster than the 2:11 seconds this vid takes. I know of the mclarens history but this guy makes it sound like it's invincible. cars from the 60's would take it. and he compared it to the veyron. big accident. so i had to inform him.

You obviously don't know anything about the McLaren F1..?Anyway, it's obvious that the veyron surpasses the Mclaren, but the mclaren is much older, doesn't have as much hp at all, and I could go on like that, on your other post, neither of those cars surpasses the mclaren, only the veyron, murcielago, gt-40, ferrari enzo, neither one of them..

The ultima gtr will send the mclaren f1 back to the drawing board had it set on the same track as it.and the veyron only runs 14psi. why 4 turbos? more rotors leaves more room to get air. the 4 turbo's are only there to get the air faster. a mclaren f1 does 0-100 mph in 7.7 seconds. look it up. and also the veyron does a 0-125 in 7.3 seconds. pretty sad to know that the mclaren was beat by a car twice the weight. did you know that if a mclaren f1 passes a paused veyron at 100 mph.

obv you know nothing about the veyron so i'm not even going to argue.what car won lemans at first attempt? well have you forgot about the amazing gt-40? in 68 a gt40 took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place...and what car puts out that power just being na? well have we forgot about the cadillac cien? the lamborghini murcielago? the ferrari enzo? and most important. the weineck cobra will literarily trash your mclaren f1. 3 times the torque and more than twice the hp. but a car that your puny little mclar

the f1 is the ultimate bench mark for super cars no turbos n/a motor held the record for fastest production car for over ten years won le mans at first attempt what other car has done that? None. imagine if some one turboed one the veyron wouldnt stand a chance and the f1 can do it all go stop and corner the mclarn is god of supercars end of story
