It is Donavon Frankenreiter! I came across him a few years ago looking for THE Donavon. A shame that I knew it was him because it had nearly the exact melody and tune as another song of his, I think I'm thinking of "Whatcha Know About." Anyways, I actually sang the words to the other song, then was surprised to hear "Free" in place of it. CHEAP. SAME SONG!
