Wow this trick is truly mesmerizing and stunning. I am completely blown away. I thought it was pretty much the same thing as what illusionist Criss Angel did on his show Mindfreak. This version is so much better utilizing shawdows- Teller isn't merely moving an object with its shadow. No, Teller is instead physically destroying the object by using its shadow. Beautiful

i agree, you can see the flower falling as he is half way through cutting it, and you would surely see the mechanism on the flower for it to be that complicated

Wait what? There's people that actually think he's mute? This is why I shouldn't read comments. I just heard him talk on the History channel for twenty minutes.

This was probably one of my favorite tricks when I saw then in Vegas, I still wonder how he did it...

I don't think it's a remote-controlled flower. That seems too unwieldy for such a precisely-timed, and low-mass, reaction. In fact, the very notions is rather ridiculous, no offense meant. It would seem more likely a string-based occurence, given his unnatural reorientations and the angle of his free hands. Regardless, this is one of the most-respected tricks in the duo--to say it is easy is wildly inaccurate.

If it's so simple, please, make me one of those Flowers so I can be an amazing magician. Please.

this is very easy to do. The "flower" is remote controlled to fall apart at certain places. Then, just put the knife up to the shadow of where it will fall apart and "presto". The bit at the end is a little bag of fake blood in his palm.

Search youtube for 'Teller talks!'. There's a video of him at some magic convention explaining a magic trick. He's not mute, but he does get confused. In the video he referred to a ball as a coin, since he was concentrating on the trick too much.
