Straight-faced ironic display of how to tie a double windsor tie knot. Yes, it is something I am now tired of demonstrating and this is a lighthearted attempt meant to relieve me of the obligation to do more than pass out a URL (just in case someone may think I am as sad as the video appears). Sincere apologies to Kylie and Jason, couldn't think of a better accompaniment :-) Sound effects are accidental (pun intended). Made without any due care or attention on a Mac. You can't exactly dust for prints on the results of watching this, be warned.

This is actually just a regular windsor knot. The double windsor is an antiquated piece of yesteryear that nobody uses anymore, probably due to it being 16 steps long. I would still love to know how exactly to tie the double winsdsor, but this is most certainly not it.

Thanks a billion. I used to be in the military and had to have my mates tie my tie for me. The stupid diagrams they gave us to tie this knot where useless. You did it so effortlessly and with such skill that I replicated the knot in my first attempt. Very well done. The music calmed me and took away any trepidation I had in replicating your brilliant creation. Thank you.
