Dweezil & Ahmet Zappa - Peavey Medley Part 1/5 (The 60s)
PART 1 of 5January 20? 1995 - NAMM, Hilton, Anaheim CA Personnel: Z (Dweezil & Ahmet Zappa, Mike Keneally, Bryan Beller, Joe Travers)Bryan Beller's comments: The Z show was a private party for Peavey, with a special guest appearance by Dick Clark. We all got dressed up in fake costume stage tuxes and wore ZZ Top beards for a planned skit, before playing our only song of the evening: an even newer medley, one that spanned the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s. It was fun, it was silly, it was Z in a nutshell.****SPOILERS*****Intro*Tush - ZZ TopAmerican Bandstand by Barry Manilow*60's*Break on through - The DoorsFire - Jimi HendrixSummer In The City - Lovin SpoonfulMighty Quinn - Manfred MannYou Really Got Me - Van Halen (Kinks)Satisfaction - Rolling StonesDaytripper - BeatlesEleanor Rigby - BeatlesHelter Skelter - BeatlesIn My Life - BeatlesSgt Pepper's - BeatlesMy Generation - WhoGood Times Bad Times - Led ZeppelinCommunication Breakdown - LZWhole Lotta Love - LZSugar Sugar - The Archies

Let me guess, was that sponsored by Peavey or something? I have heard a million night club bands do these songs, but these guys really capture the feel and the groove.

If you mean right after "Fire," by Hendrix then it is "Summer in the City" by The Lovin' Spoonful.

It's interesting until you realize that they refer quite a few artists who never used Peavey products lol.

try searching for it on emule, the problem is that I have to post it on parts because youtube wont allow me to post videos longer than 10 minutes long.

Can you post a full version of this video, not in parts? Or, if it's already uploaded somewhere, can you tell me where I can get it? I've had this mp3 forever- it's one of the greatest things I've ever heard, especially the occasional "Peavey!".
