I remember when I first saw this commercial people were amazed by the special effects. We would always look at the commercials carefully, waiting for it to come on, because we thought it was so very cool watching something so spectacular.

Yup gamealarm, same thing in our home back then. 7-up was always bought for stomach aches. LOL I loved it

And those 7-Up and Cokes tasted so good in those glass bottles back then. I remember tis commercial very well. I remember doing my homework to my Mom's dismay in front of the TV and seeing this commercial about 71 or 72. She'd turned off the set and we'd go to the kitchen to do our homework. What a nice memory.

Mind-blowing animation and a catchy, sparkling musical background--what more could one want in a commercial? Made 33 years ago---often imitated today, but never equaled.
