Vietnamese didnt learn from chinese but was influenced by dem, the chinese took over vietnam for 1000 yrs dats y vietnamese culture r so similar w/ the chinese. its true dat vietnamese had used chinese characters but they did hav their own language b4 the chinese came. i think it called "nom" or something lik thatbut lik i said the chinese took over Vietnam for 1000 yrs they made the vietnamese ppl to speak chinese n made them to forget about their culture.Viet do admit their past btw ^^

It's a Vietnamese traditional song (well, maybe not really traditional but kinda, the lyrics is new but the music is traditional). Trust me, I'm Vietnamese :D

I also heard that a lot of Vietnamese moved to the North about 1500 years ago, that the reason why many Chinese look like Vietnamese....

Everyone is the same inside. Just because people live differently doesn't make anyone better than anyone else. Hate is ignorance, get over it, it's not the 30s anymore.

If you don't know the culture of Vietnam clearly, please don't make up those thoughts.

To TilaTequila2007 : "Excuse me, how did chinese influence the vietnam culture greatly? Can you please clarify it to me because i find it really unusual."
