i believe there are 2 'Orchestral' cards available for the 1080. Has anyone used either of these ??Is anyone familiar with the 'Vintage' card ??

DAMN!!! Shit, now I feel like an ass for selling my XP-50!! I miss that fucking keyboard so much. That's it, I'm gonna go out and get a JV box and hook it up to my controller. Synchronix had me at hello. SYNCHRONIX!!

Dude, that was my issue also I couldn't believe it, I felt ripped off! You can only apply chorus, reverb and on fx of your choice to all the instrumetns in performance mode that's it.I would like to know if the JV 1080 and the other modules do the same thing?

My first ever synth was a Roland XP-30. It is based on the JV-1080 as far as I know. It had plenty of nice sounds, until I put them in a multi performance, the patches started to loose effects and layers. Any way to work around that?

i got a jv 1010 recently. all the patches out there work on it also. though id recommend a 1080 over the 1010 anyday too. but the sound engine on all 3 is so incredible. im gonna pick up a few in the next year while there cheap. i think that you can get so much out of it without any soundcard though. people need to learn to use soundiver already though.with that the possibilities are endless! lazy musicians. lol.. thanks for the vid dude.

great playing for "poly saws"! 10/10I think the JV-1080 is the best synth ever made.
