It can go faster but the speed is set to look realistic. This type of locomotive moved pretty slowly, especially up heavy grades like mine. Cost is just the small amount of electricity to charge the battery.

omg is it slow enough?!?!? lol just joking. but can it go faster? and how much does it cost to run, if at all?

U could fill any gondelas with mud for a bit of weight, I like to be just on the limit of adhesion so it takes a little skill to keep moving.yes I have no life!!

Like your Garden Train very much. Nice large space well groomed... train sounds are the best! Also cool auto-coupling. Thanks for sharing your talent!

I actually do have one of those and I put it on the train when I have guests or an open house. I didn't use it in the video because the picture frequently breaks up. An electrical engineer friend says it's because of signal reflections and there really isn't anything that can be done about it.

your layout looks wonderful. Why don't you get one of those mini wireless video cams and mount it on the train.
