WTF is the shittest thing ever, i do ITF and im a first degree black belt, WTF is no handed sparring, just kicks to block and in real life, if u were being attacked, u woulda be way too used to fuckign usse legs to block over hands, WTF is slow, its a staring contest like 3/4 of the time, ITF can be a staring contest also but tahts only like 1/4 - 1/2 of the time, General Choi died a few years ago. "R.I.P General Choi - You're not here but your Legacy Will Live On"!

from my point of view, I prefer WTF sparring, not because of the eye-catching kicks, but for me, it really emphasize the true meaning of taekwondo. a white belter here. :D

It doesn't matter if you learn more kicks if you can't use them realistically...In a real fight all you're gonna use are roundhouse, front and side kicks. ITF is the original.WTF never gave General Choi any credit.

WTF is way faster than ITF. ITF is too slow. They like their waves too much. I would sparr with my colleagues and i beat them. They were no match. I learned ITF teaekwondo and the good part was, it builds stamina. But WTF you learn more kicks. I trained under Morningstar, whose position is under a general. and now i'm training with master Krol. Who was a 5 time olympian contender

ITF does spar full contact. Just because they dont have stupid ass body shields doesnt mean they dont full contact. That must have been a mcdojang that you visited. What kind of idiot 'martial art' penalizes hand strikes? When WTFers face other practioners from different arts, they usually lose because they forget their hands exist when they loose their comfort zone.

I was brought up with full contact WTF, AND it was real martial arts. We went down to England from Scotland with our Master to see what ITF was like. It was a sport without full-on contact. How the tables turn.I dont agree with all this yelling and fist raising when a person scores at the Olympics -its drifted away from the real indomitable spirit.
