The look on Al Foster's face says it all. Here is a man who is playing for the music and loving every second of it. What an amazing musician. The other guys are no slouches either! I can only hope to learn to play drums with such feeling.

In 2003 I saw foster in Wiesbaden, Germany. I shook his hand, we talked for a while, and he and the whole quarted signed a poster for me. It was in a smoky little bar, like in the movies. I loved it...

I was in a Al foster quartet concert in Krefeld/Germany. It's sad then I was 12 there and I have'nt understand this wonderful, delicious Jazz because if Foster come back to Germany, i wanna go to his concert!GREATFUL
