Listening to The High Numbers does not cause me to think of The Who at all. Was there a time when The Who was not all showbiz and production values? These guys remind me of bands I'd see in places like this or at college dances, admittedly a year or two later. I like these guys. Thanks to Blueycarlton for the tune in.

That was Michael Elphick recently played Harry Slater in Eastenders, funny enough a few actors from Quadrophenia have been in Eastenders now, must be where actors end up when work is short!
