For people who wants to know the real meaning about this song..its not about drugs or wad not..its actually about a satanic church which was build on that land many years ago 1969 to be exact. That church was demolish and a hotel was build on its land. The meaning of this song is to say the church maybe gone but its history still remains..somehow making hotel california a somewhat creepy song if u know what it means

Its not about drugs-for or against- its quite a deep flash, may be drug induced and may be not.Xcellent music with with deep and wise words. take the lesson or get lost in the quagmire. nothing really is good OR bad. everything comes with 2 handles..your view point decides your point of view. Use or Abuse. These kind of words and sounds... even if inspired by drugs are most welcome and in fact needed by us one and all......
