Não conhecia tal filme mas, so pelo fato de ter uma trilha sonora agradável já disperta a curiosidade de assistir. Ah, tb tem um amigo aki do meu lado fazendo uma baita propaganda positiva do filme. Vou locar.

ID LIKE TO THANK Y people for all gentle things y wrote down here concerning my country or"the image"of my country in the movie.Despite of the tragedy in daily life seeing the violence of the system that was not invented for us,we have the most brilhant culture in the sad planet!how did it happen? don knowbut i wish Europe and US could do more than admire our art production and simply leave us to"live"..(all who knows how world economy works will know what i mean)love 4 Brasil 4ever

LOL! Perhaps that's the Black ppl from the US that YOU know.I'm in NYC and my friends are enlightened to know who our brothers and sisters are in Panama, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Guyana, Sierra Leonne, Egypt, etc. We all speak at least one of the Romantic (Latin based) languages and MOST of my friends are bi-lingual or polyglots. Language as in this movie should NEVER be a barrier to connect with family.Have a great day today, Applebaum!

Black Americans do not see themselves as being the same as Black South Americans at all they have differnet cultures |& languages. Most 'African Americans' speak English because of their history. and Black South Americans speak Portuguese , Spainish etc. being an American and being South American are 2 totally differnet things. When Americans are singing about 'The Star spangled banners' they arent thinking of Brazil crazycoolone?

Brazil is America... South America. The movie is a classic, but it's a shame that so many ppl in the US don't know about it.
