GMR to pick up 50% stake in InterGen of US

GMR is set to become largest power company in the private sector by striking one of the largest acquisitions in the power sector, by picking up majority stake in the US-based power generating company, InterGen.NDTV has learnt that GMR will pick up the controlling 50 per cent stake in InterGen. GMR's bid of $1.3 billion has emerged as the highest piping other Malaysian companies in the race.
