On one Hand your right but on the other Hand I have to say that "always" is not the right word.Classical Music exists way longer denn Popular Music. Also I think Popular Music is not real Music, but Art. Most of the popular Musicians have no real Instruments in their Music, like Rap or else. For music the instruments are important and how they are played. Thats why I listen to Metal and Rock, too. The sung is for me at the 2nd Rank, the play is that what makes the "real" music.

it means that today's society NO longer values virtuosity and intelligence. it only embraces mediocrity and things that are easy to grasp. wonder why NOTHING great EVER happens in our world. i'm afraid it is all lost for us FEW individuals to indulge in and too keep fresh. DON'T worry there is enough of US out there to keep it vibrant and ALIVE!! peace from the USA....
