David Archuleta singing at a fireside (youth camp for teens).This is a cool video that really shows David's kind spirit. On Sunday June 1st, everyone thought he would be taking the weekend to rest but he was invited by his friend to sing at a youth camp for troubled teens and to do a Q and A session about his Idol experience. He is not dressed inappropriately. I feel sorry for people like yipee86. You miss such a blessing getting caught up in unimportant things like clothing. It isn't like he showed up in jeans and a t-shirt.I have a feeling the Lord was not offended by what David or the teens were wearing. It is complaints like this that turn a lot of people off on religion. David is such a great role model.He shows his beliefs and values, and love of God,by being himself and sharing his gift with the world.

And not only that. Speakers and special musical numbers always dress to the standard. But his voice is really good and did a good job. I'm not discrediting that. I'm just saying, the appearance is just as important as the inner devotion.

I don't want this to turn into some kind of arguement but this is just my stand point. But I sing at a lot of firesides. I know that Father knows how much he loves and respects him. But i don't think the Mormon Tabernacle Choir would roll into a fireside with a dress shirt unbuttoned. It's just about being respectful in all aspects not just the inner expression. But to each his own I guess.

How is he not dressed for the occasion? Because he doesn't have a tie and suit jacket on? I mean, he clearly has a dress shirt on and, although you can't see it, one would suspect dress pants.
