The population expands with food supply. Thanks to capitalistic advances, we produce much more than in the past, and the average person has more now than ever before (food and everything else). Your fantasy of a "democratic workers state" cannot exist. What is your team batting so far? 0 for however many times you've been to the plate. Usually, the result is a nightmare.

I don't know, the native way of life has changed so radically that I think in a lot of tribes they have modern diseases like diabetes and such.

it may be hard to verify, since the native Americans did not know how to write, but one can safely assume that the surviving natives live far longer now than they did in the 1600s. This is the case all of the world, due to greater abundance of food and the advent of modern medicine and medical techniques.

You can go back and live in a Wigwam if you want, back to a time where the land supported a tiny fraction of the population it does now, where people died much younger, etc. Or you could go back still further to the stone age.
