someone forwarded me this video and i would say among all other chain prayer letters, etc., this is the most edifying, most inspiring and most transforming. God indeed in His time make all things beautiful for someone who has great humility like Tony. Tony, may God carry you in His loving arms always. In Christ, U got a friend n me.

The day the Pope came to Los Angeles and the Universal Amphitheatre was extremely memorable. I was one of the high school teenagers on stage in front of Tony Melendez. Tony's back was facing the audience in front of me, so he was looking towards us. I still remember seeing the pope jump the stage to get to Tony, I thought he was going to fall. The secret service didn't miss a beat, they helped the Pope. All I can tell you the atmosphere was very joyous, electric, and loud. Thanks Tony.
