We had to get a statement of no objection from the Mexican Consulate. It was a long process. We could use two boat tacs. to get them to stop (squeezing them in) but once we got the SNO we could use less than lethal force (OC rounds, sting ball granades) to get them to stop. Lethal force was authorized to meet lethal force as in any other operation. In short we had to ask pretty please to the mexican government to be able to use weapons aginst their nationals. quick question? How do you get someone to stop if they are not following your orders? Do you squeeze them in or are you at that point able to use lethal force or say cripple the vessle? I know there is a set ROE
