After listening to this, it's hard to believe that it only ran a few seconds over three minutes. There are so many notes that it seemed much longer.Baller, originally from Poland, escaped the Nazi's antisemitism (albeit with injuries) in 1938 and fled with his wift to the United States. A couple of years later, Menuhin met Baller in New York and took Baller and family to his estate in California. The grateful Baller was Menuhin's accompanist for many years thereafter

It's actually sautille... but yes it's a great piece to master it. It's really hard to play aswell...
