Agnetha Faltskog Jag Var Sa Kar (I Was So In Love) 1968

A beautiful song which also happens to be Agnetha's first single. Recorded in 1967, It made the charts in 1971! Agnetha Faltskog Jag Var Sa KarI Was So In Love!Say, can you forgive meFor the harsh words I said when I left? The things that I said made it soundAs if you would never get me back.I thought I was in love. With the friend I deserted you for.But now I begin to realizeThat is was a mistake on my part,Because it's you, only you,That's standing in front of meWhere ever I go.Once, long ago,I was yours and everything was so right.Once, I was happy,It was then I belonged to you.But now I walk aloneTo the places we used to go to, The two of us.And now I begin to realizeThat it was a mistake on my part,Because it's you, only you,That's standing in front of meWherever I go.Yes, now I begin to realizeThat it was a mistake on my part,Because it's you, only you,That's standing in front of meWherever I go!Wherever I go!.

She's amazing here, and she's only 17 years old! She was so professional at such a young age and she prepared herself well for what was to come.

this song just give me the chills, I love how it starts, her voice is angelical, she could and actually she can express so much throu her voice, she puts her heart to every song! it's so cool to know she wrote this song!

I want the swedish lyrics, not the english ones so I can know what she is singing. I looked them up online and couldn't find them.

I try to get as many translations as I can. If I can't do it myself, I have many great Swedish friends who translate the lyrics for me. I plan to have lyrics up for "Tack Sverige" soon! Were you aware that the lyrics for this song are in the upper right hand box. Just click on "more info". About 85% of her lyrics are not translated into English, but just type the The name of the song and add the word lyrics and you can pull up any lyrics to any of her songs. ThanksPeace, Jim~

You know, I thought I knew a lot about Agnetha but every once in a while there's a question I can't answer right away. I know that this was her first single and was recorded in 1967 at Phillips Studio in Stockholm. She was with her father and the recording session was set up by Little Gerhard, who discovered her. He had studio musicians ready to go when she arrived and it seems to me they might have had backup singers. But who knows, maybe it's an echo effect. Thanks for lookin in.Peace, Jim~
