An Octopus is a badass. I recall a video where they had one in a tank and across from it was a tank full of crab. They couldn't figure out where the crabs were disappearing to until they setup the camera. They then found out. It was the Octopus, it'd open it's tank, crawl across the floor, go into the crab tank and have a meal. Then it'd crawl back to its tank and climb in closing the cover behind it. There is intelligence there.
