Private property rights are private property rights, just like religious freedoms written into the constitution.

And what is your right? To discriminate? To stone people to death for adultery?

I am a Christian and I don't care if two gay people get married, but don't force a church to marry you who doesn't believe in it. If you want your rights fine, just don't trample on ours.

Dear "Defenders of Marriage", please understand that belief in some mythical old white man in the sky doesn't give you the right to rain on someone else's parade. That is, just because you *believe* it's taboo for same sex folks to marry doesn't mean everyone has to follow your wishes. Thus, if YOU feel it is a sin then by all means don't marry someone from your own sex. But, please leave the rest of us alone to do what we believe. Thanks in advance. P.S., GREAT song Roy!!!

And if I was being vague or gave you the wrong idea with my first comment, I do appologise.

Not saying you do. I mean, I've managed so far ;) Just saying that there seem to be a lot of people hiding behind and using christianity as an exscuse to hate, and I find that ironic being as it is a religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus, a man who never did anything than promote kindness and love to ALL mankind.I never viewed Jesus as the son of God. More as a historical person with great philosofical ideas.

You don't need Jesus to be a good person. If that's not good enough for your god, I wouldn't worship him even if he was real.

What can be more in tune to the teachings of Jesus, than two people in love, in whatever form that may take?An doesn't being a christian mean believing in and following the teachings of said Jesus? In my oppinion, there seems to be a lot of people who think, that christianity = Leviticus. I pity them.
