If you want to injure yourself, yes. People don't understand that it's the resting where you build muscle. If you exercise every day, the muscles never get to rest and it actually takes longer, stresses your body more, burns you out faster, and wears your joints out faster. Not good. If you're looking to just be in shape, not really athletic, you only need to exercise 2-3 times a week. You will crash. Later in life, you will pay for the excessive exercising you did when younger.
