Shredco is a moron but I wouldn't go as far as to say that is the finest guitarist of all time. It's a matter of preference---Clapton, Gallagher, SRV, and Bonamassa are all better in my opinion.

Considering that ignorant retard's screen name is 'Shredco' shows that he cannot appreciate music other than talentless soul-less crap. Ry cooder = amazing even if you don't like blues you should be able to appreciate his feel.

You are obviously a clueless punk,Shredco.

Ryland is without doubt the finest guitarist of all time. His sound is more instantly recognizable than any other.I own all his solo albums and many that he sat in on.More,please.

Ry Cooder grew up in Los Angeles and was into music originating in a mix of Blues, Afro-Cuban, and Americana, mentored by a Novelty musician, a veteran of vaudeville. Proving that HE could make "old-timey" music as well if not better than most, he turned to musicology and producing. Cooder made the lion's share of his living with movie scores not record sales. His story-telling now is evidently concluded with Buddy and I, Flathead. Don't stop Ry don't stop!! We need your music and storys!

Yep...tuned to D - DADF (bugger, wheres the sharp sign on a mac keyboard) AD. I remember seeing this and how can a poor man on whistle test, and it just turned me onto slide playing. He has such a cool feel to what he does. thanks for posting
