JFK was brutally murdered/executed in the attempt to preserve your civil liberties and human rights (our) He pledge to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States of America and he fulfilled this promise with his own life! What are you doing about it? Keep hiding behind the Bushes

The trumpet summons us again not a call to bear arms no arms we need not a call to battle no in battle we are but a call to bear the burden of a twilight struggle, a struggle against the common enemies of men: Tyranny, poverty, disease and war itself" He is now telling us: "and so my fellow citizens of the world ask of us here the same high standard of strength and sacrifice of which you had asked of me, JFK!"

Evil will not, must not triumph! we are, the good people, we are the one who must bear the burden of this twilight struggle.. nothing is more important than this!!! this is not a call to bear arms no arms we need not a call to battle not embattled we are but a call to voice a dissent a call to dispute and refute this current disgraceful administration yet a powerful dissent voiced in civil manner and under the rule of laws and directed to the highest institutions of this great republic!

wow. I am only 18 and this is the first speech i've heard of his. This guy is great it's such a shame he was killed. I hope people will realize that he and Obama are of the same ilk. But jeez this guy could really talk to America

Unbelievable speech. The day that man died was the worst day in our nations history. Worse than 9-11 because 9-11 may not have happened had he died. LBJ brought about the aggressive strike-first military attitude that still holds power today.

And, I might add, it is by attitudes like his that we have thrived as a nation and have been a country for Every citizen to be very proud of! It is by this attitude and outlook for our nation, our world, that we can overcome any obstacle that may seem too great or out of reach. We need a leader that can not only instill enthusiasm and Hope, but live his life as to lead the way for the standard of what life in a country that has more potential than this World has ever seen!

Great man! Very Wise man who knew what he was talking about most aspects of Leading and in Life! Even though he was a Kennedy, JFK was one of a kind.
