Case in point. There was a 25 year old who was arrested for having relations with a 17 year old. To me that shouldn't be an issue. Whats the difference between 17 and 18? Nothing.

I chose that name because no matter what you say you are gonna offend someone. Now a days that seems to be an ever increasing problem. But I realized that sometimes if I have to be an asshole to get my point across then I'll do it. I'm not asking for ppl to disagree with me I'm just stating a fact. I'm just saying maybe we should lower it to 15 or 16. PPl are maturing faster than effer and sometimes laws like this hurt more than they protect. cont'd.....

laws are meant to protect the people. that is thier sole purpose. this law is only protecting. i just dont see a legitamate excuse to tear it down. and the desire to have sex legally with a 13 y/o is NOT a legitamate answer to tear down this law, no matter how low your moral standards are.
