Actually I would just say I'm from DC myself. Even though I was born in the Philippines, doesn't mean I was raised there.Also, just because my mom is from the Philippines, doesn't mean I'm "from" there, too.

he couldve just said he was Filipino...-_-.im not ignorant, what makes u think of me like that? hes the one being ignorant...im a guy who was born in the Philippines, but lives in the U.S. and is chinese...so yeah. all he couldve said was they're filipino, or filipino-american.

don't be so ignorant. it means their heritage is Philipines. Ask an Asian guy where they are from. they'll probably say "China", "Korea", "Japan". Even though they were born in the US they would still reply this way

how can u be from the Philippines and be born in the states? wtf. where u are born, is where u are from. so if he were born in the states, he's from America....are u saying he's Filipino? man, who knows.
