The world isn't black and white. There are as many ways as there are people. Man created god. It's not the other way around.

Good question. I can answer that. 1. The belief in god relies mostly on two logical fallacies. Appeal To Authority. "I'm right because the Bible says I am."And Appeal to Force. "If you don't believe in god, you'll burn in hell." When asked how do you know there's a hell? The answer's "Because it says so in the Bible."And2. Many of the same people DO believe in ghosts and trashcan abducting aliens. The only logic to be found, is bad logic.

you believe in god...why?evidence? anything at all?then why can't you believe in something else like ghosts or aliens?

WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! I was being sarcastic. You just argued with me about your belief in a religion and creationism and now you are lecturing me about science. Honestly, even though I was being sarcastic, I would accept the notion of aliens over the leap of faith belief in a super natural god.but either way why would you sit there and say that you would need proof to believe in aliens when you are in fact guilty of belief with out evidence or even any reason to assume.

And yes. I know of several similar types of events, some attributed to a religious phenomena, some not. In the deserts of the (American) South West. In particular, northern New Mexico. Perhaps the truism that best applies is "Unexplained, means Unexplained". I think we need mystery.

There are truisms. Such as Man creates Myth, to explain what he cannot explain. Man is highly subjet to the power of suggestion. Man sees what he wants to see etc. To swamp gas. These things must be taken into account. As does, Does the event happen where people of faith gather. Or do people of faith gather where an event happens? I find the real mystery, not to be the event. But the Human reaction to the event. Including these discussions after the event. It shows the depth of man's curiosity.

With the possibility of aliens messing around with us we should probably also release everyone from prison who says they are innocent as well because how do we know it wasn't an alien with shapeshifting or hologram technology? For people on death row this is a matter of life or death!BTW it is amazing how quickly you went from "and why haven't [they] been witnessed by anyone since? especially since we developed the technology of cameras." to "for all i know it could be the aliens..."

"for all i know it could be the aliens who are making my garbage can float."That could be said for pretty much anything in life. If we account for the chance of highly-advanced aliens messing with us, there goes our like 99% of our science knowledge."think about the scientific method." This is extremely ironic considering what you posted in your first sentence. Science deals with testable hypotheses and observational evidence. Not science fiction theories about aliens.

A vision of Mary, in a burnt piece of toast."That is a strawman; I was referring to fluorescent apparitions above churches, you are giving an example of a well documented psychological phenomena known as pareidolia (e.g. the man on the moon.) Even of themselves without the appearance of a woman, fluorescent figures hovering above a church repeatedly over the course of a couple years is notable and highly unusual. Can you give an example of this happening slightly above a non-religious site?

exactly my point
