The Legacy/Testament Live in Beijing,China on July 29,2007
I am so glad to be there, seeing my favorite thrash metal band live! This song is one of my two favorite Testament songs, the other is Souls of Black.I just love Alex's guitar and Billy's vocal so much. Later after the show, I went to take a pic with the band and they are very nice people. You can hear some screams very close to the DV,that's me,Don't hate me, I was too excited. If anyone related to Testament(the band members, the band managers, the agent...) feels my upload is a violation to the copyright,I will delete immediately.

sorry for double posting, I miss remembered when those bands were in Iceland, Metallica was in 2004, and Megadeth in 2005 so Testament were due to come in 2005 (if my memory is right) and there was so much more going on

yeah that sux when the management decides to take complete control over the bands, but what I meant of bad timing was the same year Metallica and Megadeth came, although the Icelandic metal scene is decent, it is to small for Metallica, Megadeth and Testament at the same year, it would've worked out "in the management point of view" if they had invited Testament a year later

Talking of about bad ticket sell,I don't think Iceland is worse than China. This Testament show's sell wasn't good either and the show organizer actually lost money from this show. I remember there were about 1000 or a little more people.Canceling shows is so normal in China, Rolling Stones cancelled in 2003 due to the epidemic disease,Megadeth cancelled in 2007 for a stupid reason-money(Dave has nothing to do with this, just his management company's problem)

If the scene is "small" or "large" shouldn't matter, everyone should be able to get the chance to experience their legends live, if it's Testament, Slayer, Stratovarius, Dimmu Borgir, every band wants to reach their fans, as long as they get payed hehe, anyway that's just what I think, cool vid though, they (Testament)were so close to come to visit my country (Iceland) 2 years ago, but the agency withdrew cause of bad ticket sell, the timing was bad cause there was so much going on that year

Yes, there is a small yet thriving community in China, although it's quite different from many other countries' scene and a little bit weird in some sense,I think it's still healthy and will be better as time goes by.

It's gratifying that see such a legendary band like Testament being so well received in China. Makes me wonder whether there is a living and thriving metal community in that nation, metal music is truly universal. Thank you for uploading this video, whoever you are, screaming metalhead lady.
