Vocally, the color of her voice reminds me of Callas at her best (although I'm not a huge Callas fan). But I agree she doesn't come close to inhabiting the role like Callas. Still, definitely worth watching and listening to!

I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you, but AG's looks and sumptuous voice, NOT musicianship (she's an average soprano) gets her most of her gigs. Don't believe be, Ask Bill Mason at the LOC.

My god she even laughs at the end...before starting sempre libera. Callas did that in one of her traviata debuts!

alexninko dear, you have to listen with another part of your beign the finale that "...is missing". You will find a piece of Heaven.
