Nobody got booed. The crowd wasn't 50-50. It was 100-100 for both wrestlers. It was surreal.

During his WWF run, Savage usually had the match laid out (ala Steamboat v Savage.) He was meticulous and that's what made him good.

Regarding Warrior's work. I thought his in ring work really improved over his time in the WWF. I think he learned a lot from Rude. Of course, anybody who knows a damn thing about Hellwig knows he has a maniacal work ethic. Lazy he isn't.

There are so many things that makes this the greatest WWF match is history. The great talking spots from both Hogan and Warrior in the weeks leading up to the match, excellent ringside call from Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura (the best color team in WWF history), and the sheer drama of how the match was played out. 68,000 people at Skydome, and we really had no idea who was going to win. The only thing that's come close since was Hogan / Rock 1.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Pat Patterson must have been the man behind this match. Hulk Hogan said in his HOF speech that Patterson was the main man when it came to putting matches together. Just like he did with Rock/Hogan, HBK/Michales etc. Also, during the stare down and "trash talk" you can see Hogan actually calling the spots etc. Even with the test of strength. So it's safe to say Warrior was carried best as possible. Even his match with Savage at WM7, Savage layed it all out!

Hogan's entrance alone was classic. 60,000+ strong. The crowd erupting. I miss the hulkamania era.

Warrior's entrance alone was the best part.
