Boring live performance? I think that's the point, no? The juxtaposition between the raw power of the music & the relative ambivalence of the musician. The bit where he stands up & cleans some wax out of his ear at 2:55 is pure genius.

the fact hat it is merzbow himself performing for you should be more than enough - he's no stage performer, he just makes incredible nightmares.
