Apparently the animation was based on designs by Australian political/social cartoonist Michael Leunig. He's considered one of Australia's "national treasures" and is worth Goggling.

I LOVE THIS SONG... & MOBY. & AM JUST.WILD ABOUT THE ANIMATION....DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THE EXTRAORDINARY ANIMATOR IS? It looks easy, it's NOT. [is it the same individual who animates that cartoon nertwork show about the 3 cats living in the mansion inherited from their deceased eccentric owner?
