absolutely beautiful film. Chaplin was truly a genius. The music he composed compliments this scene perfectly.... what I would have done to have been alive to meet him.

Very famous scene where the child welfare people try to take him from his vagrant father. I wonder how many times this sort of thing happened in those days.

I love this part. The Tramp is fighting like hell to get his kid back and Jackie is sooo good in this! The way he pleaded "I want my daddy, please!" and with the music, it just breaks your heart. So beautiful.
