Betty White is the oldest, born January 17 1922. Second is Beatrice Arthur, born May 13 1922. Then was Estelle Getty on July 25 in 1923. Youngest is of course Rue McLanahan, born February 21 in 1934...

Yeah I grew up watching her as well so its really sad to to see her go she felt like a grandma I always wanted to have. Sh was the best golden girl in the show and later one in the spin off "Golden Palace" even though it didn't last long she still rocked it and all her guest spots on "Empty Nest" and "Nurses" even then she was still funny and great to watch

Thanks for sharing your feelings with us.I know exactly how you and everyone feel.Estelle was such a talented comedian and a Lady.I grew up watching The GGs and still watch the DVDs when I'm down.They Always cheer me up and give me belly aches from laffing so much.Thanks Girls and RIP Estelle.
