You have a good eye. I agree. The monk was trying hard (or not) not to hurt that guy. The tkd dude was way out of his league, not even close. If this was a real fight we'd have one dead tkd dude. This is one awesome video clip.

im not sayin kungf u over all but kung fu definitely over karate and tkd in my opinion because ive taken karate before and tkd and yea they were cool and stuff but the forms are just so lame and i didnt even get strong. we never did anything as much fun and beneficial as we did in shaolin... i dont know u noobs should really check out some real shaolin dojo's around america or in ur town make sure the teacher is a real monk too not no bs monk cause their are alot of bs monks

LOL noobs all noobs shaolin kungfu is (wushu, shan shou, san da) thats all we did. monday wednesday friday was wushu. tuesday thursday saturday san da / san shou. man u wanna learn the real deal stop going to lil karate and tkd classes where the master is white... go to a real dojo from a real monk from china which would b shaolin... do u have any idea what shaolin training is like?!?! a tkd or karate master wouldnt last 1 minute of actual shaolin training china at the temple u noob fuck

Jet li sed n i quote he even sed this in his movie fearless near the end where he is talkin to the person he will fight at the end "no martial art is superiour than others meerley just differnt people with different skill abillity" soo stop running your mouth saying its better n you would wipe the floor wid every other martial art

rl1us3r, I agree to the most part you written. one thing I disagree on is tha "all" asian ppeople came from china. History wise Shaolin is from India area. The Art Travel from the Buddha when it was spread at the ancient time. So basically around the India china area. How about muaythai/Boran? I have to say it is depending on the fighter or a smarter fighter. like someone say 'you don't bring a knife to a gun fight' you have to adapt to the eviroment and evovle to meet the region.

you can see that that shaoolin guy is holding back so much.the tkd guy thinks he's being aggressive but the shaolin is in complete control of the every moment of that clip.
