A500 Project X - Intro + Demo
Way before Team 17 made it's name with Worms, they were already big on my list because of many games for the Amiga.Project X was one of them. It came in 4 diskettes, it had amazing graphics and it was a sort of tribute to Konami's Gradius in the weapon power up department. And it was SO HARD!This song from Allister Brimble was one of the most memorable pieces of music from the time, showing off again what was possible to do with the MOD format and with only 4 sound channels.Truly ,back in those days, technical limitations brought out the best and most creative work out of people.

Team 17= Awesomeness. It's a great testament to the games makers that the games and indeed the intro's and songs have stood the test of time.Catch me on EAB.

Hey Martyn B. The stuff you guys turned out for the Amiga was legendary. Alien Breed / Superfrog / Project X....awesome. C'mon how about getting the original team behind those classics together from some updated stuff of those franchises onto the PS3 / 360. That would make us oldies pretty happy :-)

Thanks everyone, it was a long time ago :-))We did a sequel which was released via Ocean on Playstation in 1996 (Bjorn Lynne aka Dr.Awesome) did all the music for that. Capcom released it in Japan.Cheers, Martyn/Team17 (who are still going fine, thanks!)

My dad was a master at this game, he completed it many times. The level with all the lava looks really cool, btw the Amiga had 4-channel 8-bit sound and 4096-colour depth palette when in HAM mode, whooo :D
